A few years ago I looked forward to reading or watching my favorite bloggers “What’s In My Bag?” videos or posts. Call me creepy but I wanted to see what things other people carried in their bags! Fast forward to having 2 little ones, since I don’t even carry a bag anymore, I’ve drifted my interest to “What’s In My Car?”. Weird huh?
I’m in my car most of the time and since I live in a small town, everything is a bit far away. Now that I carry with a BABY BAG at all times, I keep both girls’ things plus my wallet in it and that’s it! I can’t imagine tugging along a newborn, a toddler, a baby bag, a toddler bag, and then my bag. I don’t have enough arms lol! When I did carry with a bag for myself I packed everything in it that I thought I could possibly need while I was gone. From makeup, to toiletries, to napkins….to EVERYTHING! Now I just try to keep a few things I know I’ll need in my glove compartment.
With 2 little ones I don’t ever think of myself, I’m always thinking “What am I missing?” but for them. Then when I’m finally in the car on the road I remember something I need like another pair of contacts, a nail file or DEODORANT! Don’t judge me! If you want to know what I keep in my car, read on below.
(from left to right)
- Wrinkle Releaser – One of my favorite Youtubers put me on to this and I must have this in my car now at all times! Yes I iron my clothes before I leave but let’s not pretend that the seatbelt doesn’t end up wrinkling it all making it seem like we don’t even own an iron! And with a toddler and a newborn on top of me at all times, I’m bound to get wrinkled. A couple of sprays of this on the wrinkles and a few tugs and you’ll be fine!
- Brush – Whether it’s for me or for MJ…..One of us is bound to need their hair re-combed!
- Lotion – I hate putting lotion on. One day we were on our way out and Jaiden’s knees were soooooo ashy (dry-looking) I almost died. It’s either him or his dad that are in desperate need of some lotion! After a couple of “Babe do you have lotion?” or “Mom I need lotion!” , now it’s a must have in the car.
- Listerine – Sometimes your breath needs a refresher…I know what you’re thinking…”Why not carry gum?” The minute anyone in the car realizes I have gum….IT’S GONE! Jaiden can’t just take one gum and neither can Hommy, oh and just imagine MJ. I’d go through a pack of gum literally in one ride! So LISTERINE it is! Imagine not having anything to wipe the garlic smell out of your mouth after eating out? YUCK!
- Degree UltraClear Black + White Dry Spray – I SWEAT LIKE A DUDE!!! The Summer weather in Florida is literally no joke! Most of the time we are outdoors under the hot sun and chasing after an active toddler makes me sweat even more! This is why I’m glad I found Degree’s UltraClear Black+White Dry Spray at my local Walmart!

- Perfume Mist – For whenever you need a little touch up and or in my case when you want to get rid of some baby vomit smell.
- Baby Wipes – I use Baby Wipes for EVERYTHING!!!! Aside from keeping a pack in every room in my house and in the baby’s bag, I also keep an extra pack lying around in my car.
- Nail File – I don’t know what it is with me and Nail Files but just like wipes I must have one everywhere!
- Contacts – Because I never know when MJ will poke me in the eye and I’ll need an extra one. (I’m blind without my contacts!)
- Paper Towels – In addition to wipes I also keep a roll of paper towels also for wet messes.
Those are the top 10 items I MUST HAVE IN MY CAR AT ALL TIMES. What are some items you must have in your car? Let me know in the comments below! As always, thanks for reading!
