Yeap! I am expecting BABY NUMBER 3!! I’m guessing you should know that by now, especially if you follow me on INSTAGRAM. I posted the announcement a few months ago and since then I’ve been laying low with this pregnancy. (more on this later, I promise)
I over think absolutely EVERYTHING and thinking of how to reveal this pregnancy drove me insane! After almost 4 months I finally decided on this cute way to reveal it which involved both Jaiden and Mila-Jade. Basically the book revealed it with the title “And Baby Makes Five”. Cute & Clever don’t you think? Say YES! LOL
I took a blood test to give us the gender of the baby and I found out what we were having super early … around 10 weeks to be exact. After you take the test they give you a paper with instructions on logging in so that you can see the results. The lady said it can take up to 7 days to get the results but I checked constantly! I literally checked an hour after I left and every hour after that LOL . A few days later at my doctors visit while I sat and waited, I logged in and saw the results. I ended up telling him before he even got the results. And then the thinking began….how am I going to reveal the gender?! I searched and searched but everything seemed too BLAH for me… no offense! For MJ we did the whole balloon popping thingy and I didn’t want to do that again. Plus I wanted something super simple since it wasn’t going to be an on the spot surprise like MJ’s.
My friend and I put our minds to work and thought about simple yet cute ways to reveal what I was having. We decided to incorporate the color (pink or blue) in some family photos. And I must say it turned out PERFECT! Thank You Ashley! So if you haven’t seen the reveal, here it is and if you have, then here are some more photos of that day!
IT’S A GIRL!
At first, after so much thinking, I was set on just taking a photo with balloons, then I thought I’d just use a sonogram photo and a letter board…ummm TOO TYPICAL I thought. We decided on Ice Cream and Cotton Candy and I just knew it would be perfect! Or was it? The Ice Cream was melting all over the place and the Cotton Candy was falling apart! LOL It was a crazy little attempt but it worked perfectly!

The pictures are amazing! I really loved your unique way of revealing your pregnancy, especially because it is an all time classic of The Berenstein Bears when we were growing up. I loved it! Cute idea! Gender reveals are so fun. I’ve decorated a few cakes for people who wanted to slice into it and see the color as their reveal. And congrats on the new baby!
