Hi ya’ll!!!! Easter is just a few days away and I’m so EGG-CITED!!!! LOL see what I did there? This Easter is super special for us because it’s JUJU’s Very FIRST EASTER! I know she won’t remember it but I’ll be sure to take lots of pictures to show her when she’s a little bigger. I’ve also included our Easter Basket Checklist so if you want to know more about it just keep reading.
When I was just a mom of 1 I remember clearly how much I used to go all out for every single holiday. Gifts and tons of Nik-Naks that eventually went untouched. MANY things that I bought for Jaiden were literally a waste! I would think to myself “What Was I thinking?” while I threw tons of stuff away. When I had MJ I started buying a little less but more meaningful things. Like things I knew that they could use for a while. I saved a ton of money by not buying so much. So, I decided I’d let you know that I have a little checklist for most holidays that helps me keep track of what EXACTLY I need to gift my little ones.
Here’s my Easter Basket Checklist:
This checklist is super simple as you can already see. I add something to WEAR, EAT, PLAY WITH and READ. I also must admit, sometimes I do get a little bit more but for the most part once I see I have all these 4 components, I’m usually done. I also don’t get traditional baskets, I tend to get something that I can re-use around the house or in the girls’ rooms.
Now onto what I put in the girls 2019 Easter Baskets..
Since the girls are in different age groups, JUJU is going to be 1 soon and MJ is about to be 3 I can still get them similar things but also play around with what I can get each of them.
Here is a little close up of what’s in JUJU’s basket:
Here’s a close up of MJ’s basket :
I got for both of them the same swimsuits, sunglasses, cotton candy, stuffed animals, bows, stockings and a reading book. (see how I went a teensy bit overboard? lol but I still kept it small)
First things first, these baskets are from Michaels’ and they came fully loaded with tags(I didn’t use) and grass. I got them both THIS ADORABLE swimsuit from TARGET, in fact A LOT of things in their baskets are from TARGET. I also included a super cute bow to match their swimsuits (they’re on the bunnies ears) from my favorite shop called Sweet Monster Bows . Sunglasses were from Target’s Dollar Spot, along with the little toys and gardening tools you see in MJ’s basket. JUJU’s Sippy Cup and the Finger Puppets were from Targets Dollar Spot also. Both stuffed Bunnies were from Targets Easter Section as well as the Cotton Candy. I got them both a book called Pat The Bunny, it’s the cutest Touch & Feel book that I also when I was a kid. Both got these super cute Star Knee Highs from a shop called The Little Collective. It was our first purchase from them and I’m sure it won’t be the last! Last but not least, if you look closely in JUJU’s basket you will see the most adorable Utensils from Grabease inside little pink plastic eggs. They are small and perfect for her to practice feeding herself.
And that’s all guys! I hope you enjoyed my little Easter Basket checklist and what’s inside! Did you finish stuffing your kids baskets already? Let me know in the comments below. I hope you all have an amazing Easter and As always Thanks For Reading!

I love the 4 point idea. That certainly helps from getting too heavy on one thing, I’m sure!
