Cookie Decorating & Wrapping Up Christmas
And just like that Christmas is OVER!! Can you believe it? I sure can’t!!! All the stress we obtain in order to make sure Christmas is perfect and in a snap it’s gone. I can’t believe I’m actually counting down the days until next Christmas already!!! Ok maybe not YET!!! I feel like I wasn’t ready for it to be over since MJ still had holiday PJ’s she hasn’t worn and my house still smells of fresh Christmas Tree pine. So call me crazy but we celebrated for one more day!
It was kind of like a Cookie Decorating & Wrapping Up Christmas Party !!!
I normally don’t get rid of my Christmas tree until after New Years Day so I do still have decorations up that I don’t plan on getting rid of until then, but I did start getting rid of decorations I don’t plan on using next year. I thought today would be the perfect day for me to kinda clean up AND use up some things we still had left over LIKE cookie decorations! So we took the day off to make Christmas a little longer and it was PERFECT. We threw on some festive PJ’s, put on some festive music and baked and decorated cookies while wrapping up some holiday decor!
I set up our table with all the goodies to decorate the cookies and we picked and decorated until our tummies hurt…well at least until mine did LOL. I was so happy that I had my Re-Play Recycled Tableware which made it super easy to hold and separate the goodies so things didn’t get TOO messy, plus the material was super easy to clean! #momwin I love that they always come out with color coordinated (COLOR OF THE MONTH) Holiday sets like this Christmas red! Isn’t it pretty? (I’ll be using this for Valentine’s Day also SHHHH!) All of their items are made from Recycled Plastic and are PVC, BPA and phthalate free!
I’m glad we took this day to finally Wrap Up Christmas since it’s officially over. A bit sad but happy we ended it with a little BANG! I think we may have to do this every year from now on! What do you guys do the day after Christmas? Let me know in the comments below, as always thanks for reading!
